Senior Financial Accountant / Finance Manager (Fixed Term)
Location: Bendigo, VIC (On-site)
Work Type: Fixed-Term Contract (4-6 Months)
Pay Rate: $65-$75/hour + super, dependent on experience

The Role

• Manage month-end close, journals, accruals and prepayments
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support revenue recognition and compliance requirements
• Review payroll accounting and reconciliations
• Manage employee entitlement provisions, including annual and long service leave
• Maintain the integrity of financial reporting and financial controls

What You Will Bring

• Significant experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting
• Strong reconciliation, reporting and general ledger management skills
• Experience with accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ability to work independently and quickly establish priorities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability

Highly Regarded:

• CPA or CA qualification
• Experience in community services, healthcare, aged care, not-for-profit or government-funded environments
• Exposure to revenue recognition and funding compliance requirements
