Conference & Event Support Assistant

Location: Perth CBD
Dates: 28th April - 3rd May (inclusive)
Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm daily
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic university students or recent graduates to support the delivery of a large-scale medical conference in the Perth CBD. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone looking to gain experience in events, administration, or marketing.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the conference by assisting attendees, supporting presentations, and providing general administrative support to the event team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line customer service by welcoming and directing conference attendees
  • Assist with event registration, check-in, and general attendee enquiries
  • Support presenters and speakers with PowerPoint setup and basic troubleshooting
  • Coordinate attendee flow and provide clear directions throughout the venue
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required during the event

About You

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presentation
  • Confident assisting and engaging with a wide range of people
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude

Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for university students or individuals looking to get hands on experience in events or corporate environments. Must be available for all dates. Punctual for the start times each day.

Training/breifing will be provided prior to the event.
