Hotel Manager

Lead Front Office and Housekeeping operations, drive guest satisfaction, oversee room performance, and maintain service excellence.

Front of office

Support daily hotel operations, administration, rostering, interdepartmental communication, and ensure seamless day-to-day service delivery.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Overseeing Front Office and Housekeeping teams

  • Coordinating daily operations across hotel departments

  • Handling rosters, reporting, and administrative tasks

  • Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, quality standards, and OH&S

  • Leading guest satisfaction initiatives and resolving escalations

  • Assisting with onboarding, training, and team coordination

  • Liaising between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in hotel operations, front office, housekeeping, or administrative coordination

  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Ability to lead or support teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with hotel PMS systems (Opera, RMS, or similar)

  • A proactive, guest-focused, hands-on mindset

  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and peak periods

Preferred Certifications & Qualifications

Candidates with the following training or qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (or equivalent)

  • Diploma of Hospitality Management

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)

  • Provide CPR (HLTAID009)

  • Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) - if applicable to venue

  • Food Safety or Hygiene Certificates - depending on hotel operations

  • Leadership or Front Office Management training

  • Experience with PMS systems (Opera, RMS Cloud, Protel, etc.)

Relevant on-the-job experience will also be considered in place of formal qualifications.
