ROLE

Our client delivers innovative and sustainable BOPP and CPP film packaging solutions. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, working within a team, this role is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional service. A key focus is generating incremental sales across existing and new customers to support the company's growth ambitions and expand market share across Australia and New Zealand.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and promoting company products and solutions.
• Manage day-to-day customer relationships across sales, technical, quality and service requirements to achieve agreed sales targets.
• Proactively manage customer orders and work cross-functionally to achieve 100% DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time).
• Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, including Customer Service, Production, Technical and Supply Chain.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored product, technical and commercial solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D to identify opportunities for product development and enhanced customer solutions.
• Gather and communicate customer and market feedback to support product, service and operational improvements.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, product availability and technical developments to identify market opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports and market intelligence to support business planning and growth.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and site visits.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Science, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of achieving sales targets and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, account management and customer relationship management, preferably within manufacturing, packaging or technical products.
• Strong ability to understand technical concepts and communicate product solutions effectivelyto customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across customers and internal teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to identify new business opportunities, understand market trends and monitor competitor activity.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and commercially driven, with strong problem-solving, organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally, working effectively with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Technical, Supply Chain and R&D teams.
