About the role.

Step into a key role as a Vehicle Estimator where your expertise directly shapes repair quality, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You'll manage the full estimating process-from conducting thorough pre-inspections and preparing accurate repair quotes to liaising with customers, insurance assessors, and workshop teams. Ensuring all job files and invoicing are completed accurately and on time, your attention to detail and technical knowledge will help drive productivity, revenue, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-inspections and accurately identify vehicle damage
• Prepare detailed estimates and quotes for light panel to heavy structural repairs
• Liaise with customers, insurance assessors, and workshop teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Process and collate job files, invoices, and insurance documentation efficiently
• Monitor estimate win/loss ratios and contribute to revenue and productivity targets
• Upsell additional repair work where appropriate, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain BMW-approved repair standards and ensure all tools and equipment are correctly used and maintained
• Support the loan car system and overall workshop operations
• Ensure compliance with WHS, EPA, and company policies at all times
• Attend internal and external training sessions and team meetings as required

You're a trade-qualified professional with experience in smash repairs, confident in estimating light panel to heavy structural work. You have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple jobs efficiently. With exceptional communication and customer service skills, you build trust with clients, insurers, and colleagues alike. You're proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced workshop environment, always aiming to deliver high-quality results while supporting team goals.
