Expressions of interest are open for Maintenance Fitters for upcoming roles in the FMCG, heavy industrial and manufacturing industries.

Drake Trades & Technical are seeking skilled Maintenance Fitters to support operations through preventative maintenance, fault finding and safe, reliable plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively completing preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Responding to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Performing routine checks and planned maintenance to ensure peak productivity.
• Assisting in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintaining stock of spare parts and fabricating components when required.
• Accurately updating systems with work completed.
• Adhering to company Environmental, Health and Safety policies.

About You:

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering - Fitting/Machining.
• Minimum 3 years' hands on experience within manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong problem solving skills with a proactive, safety first mindset.
• Own vehicle, tools and a current driver's licence.
• Exposure to tool making (advantageous).
• Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
