APS6 Procurement Officer (Labour Hire Contract)
📍 Canberra ACT | ⏱ Contract until 30 June 2026 (with possible extension)

We are currently seeking an experienced APS6 Procurement Officer to provide specialist procurement advisory and operational support within a Federal Government environment.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver compliant and efficient procurement outcomes in line with Commonwealth frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advice to stakeholders in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) and PGPA Act requirements

• Support business areas in planning and delivering procurement activities

• Prepare and manage procurement documentation and approaches to market

• Maintain procurement records and reporting in relevant systems

• Support contract management activities and supplier relationships

• Ensure procurement activities deliver value for money and proper use of public resources

Skills & Experience

• Experience in Commonwealth Government procurement

• Strong understanding of CPR and PGPA compliance requirements

• Experience working with systems such as TechOne, AusTender or BuyICT

• Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills

• Ability to manage procurement documentation and reporting requirements
