About the Roles
Join a respected Technology & Digital Services team within the Australian Government, leading and supporting enterprise-wide ICT procurement initiatives.

• APS5 - Support Officer: Assist in developing, administering, and managing ICT contracts and procurement activities.

• APS6 - Manager: Lead the ICT procurement team, oversee enterprise ICT contracts, and provide specialist advice to stakeholders.

Both roles offer the chance to work in a flexible public sector setting, focusing on compliance, contract performance, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and manage ICT contracts and procurement documentation.

• Support or lead ICT sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring alignment with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).

• Maintain contract registers and coordinate software licence renewals.

• Manage risks, disputes, and contract performance.

• Collaborate with Finance, ICT, and other internal and external stakeholders.

• (APS6 only) Lead, mentor, and coordinate the procurement team.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience in ICT procurement, contract management, or government procurement.

• Knowledge of the PGPA Act, CPRs, and whole‑of‑government contracting arrangements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.

• Certificate IV in Government Procurement & Contracting (or equivalent) is desirable.

• Flexible, collaborative, and able to work under pressure.
